Current Credit Provider

Definition of 'Current Credit Provider'

A Current Credit Provider' is an entry on your Credit Report signifying that a lender is currently serving you with credit facilities, such as the credit card, mobile phone account, or loan account you are using at the moment. When you no longer have an active relationship, such as when you change mobile phone companies or credit card, or repay a loan, then the Credit Provider is required to notify the credit reference agency that you no longer have a current relationship with them, and that entry is then removed from your Credit Report.
