What is the average Australian credit score?

640 is the short answer. On a scale of 0-1000, where 0 is awful and 1000 is awesome. Credit Scores vary by gender, by location, and by age.

Women are better at managing money, so score higher.

New South Wales scores higher than Victoria (681 versus 675), but residents of Melbourne score marginally higher than Sydneysiders.

Teenagers are most likely to default on credit, so score really low. Those aged between 45-54 score highest.
